From shopping to travelling, Maths is essential!
Regardless of ability or interest, Maths is for everyone and has a vital, often unseen, role in many aspects of modern life. Whatever your future career choice Maths skills improve job prospects helping you succeed in the workplace and in your personal life.
Maths is taught in a way that meets every student’s needs and is relevant to the world we live in. An appropriate level of challenge and high expectation for every student to achieve their full potential drives our approach, opening doors for further study in maths and a wide range of careers.
Students will develop knowledge, skills and understanding of mathematical methods and concepts, including: number, ratio and proportion, algebra, geometry, measures, statistics and probability. Students will use their knowledge and understanding to make connections between mathematical concepts and apply them to real-life situations.
